Abstract

The paper analyses the values and the transformations resulting from the materiality of objects that manifest the Popular Culture in consequence of sustainability policies. A Semiotic approach around popular culture, and art objects coming from the culture of recycling and sustainability reflected in the mechanisms of reception and resizing meanings in Popular Culture. The artisan and the appropriation of technological elements in order to create sacred objects revisit the new and the old.
