Abstract

This paper realizes a reflexive exercise about the individual formation by education and work, considering the concept of enlightenment [aufklarung] developed by Horkheimer & Adorno, based on negative dialectic. Two hipotesis are verified: 1) By Horkheimer & Adorno's thought, the bourgeois formation permeates the lord formation and the slave formation, and in this formation lives, at the same time, the moto of the imprisonment and the liberating spark; and 2) the bourgeois formation, according these authors, happen based on fear, that produces domination and violence.
