Abstract

Thispaper aims to make a psychosemioticreading of the feminine archetype infolktales of Northeast Brazil. It is structured in four parts: the first covercharacteristics of the folktale, the second discuss the semiotics thatinterface with the theories of the unconscious; the third on the femininearchetype; and the fourth, the filter, in the tales, of the actors that shapethe anima. It is a text constructed from a PhD thesis, defended in 2011, whoseprimary aim was to analyze folktales of the Northeast of Brazil in order tofind the archetypes present there.
