Abstract

This article resulting from research developed in the master, search in Discourse Analysis, especially in Foucault's formulations, the theoretical framework, methodological and analytical in which to understand the gay guy constitution processes in Junior magazine. The magazine, taken as media artifact, is a carrier of many pictorial and verbal discourses about being gay in our culture, becoming as an object of pedagogy, especially with regard to the body, forms of care and methods of transformation of this, offered by medicine and aesthetics. From the discursive memory, try to show how these discourses are dynamic and fundamental to that identities are transformed / reinvented. The prohibition of pornography in media vehicle in question is a constituent of way process which enables the magazine dodge content restrictions, since it is geared towards a young audience.
