Abstract

This article "From literary text to the Youtube digital platform: an experience of literary and digital literacy through multisemiotic resources in elementary school" consists of a pedagogical intervention in the 8th year of an elementary school, in Pernambuco, Brazil. In addition to the reading literary texts, there was the production of videos that were posted on Youtube, as the result of the intervention and social inclusion. In this sense, we direct this research through the following general objective: to analyze how an experience of literary literacy and digital literacy through multisemiotic resources in videos posted on youtube can contribute for shaping critical and autonomous students readers. Thus, with this intervention, we seek to provide participants with activities that contribute to the expansion of their training of readers of the literary text. Based on this research, Dudeney, Hockly and Pegrun (2016), highlighting issues related to digital literacy, in addition to the ideas of Barton and Lee (2015) on Youtube, and Santaella (2003), Peirce (2010) on semiotics. We emphasize that the results of this research were satisfactory for the formation of the subject as reader of literary texts and that digital media, social networks are set up as possible resources and space, beyond the notebook and the classroom, in which young people can exercise their protagonism.
