Abstract

This article presents the process of creating the performance-ritual Ühpü. Developed by the research group Tabihuni at the State University of Amazonas – UEA, it was based on the symmetrical experience between indigenous and non-indigenous people in the shamanic ritual conducted by the indigenous Bu’u Kennedy, of the Ye’pá mahsã (Tukano) ethnic group, and Chris TK , ethnic Huni Kuin (Kaxinawa). In this sense, this article reveals to the field of Scene Arts a decolonial experience built symmetrically in the immersion in shamanism, making it possible, before any “staging”, to find our real existence, presence and, mainly, our subjectivity in/for the world.
