This interview with José Antonio Pasta Jr. reevaluates his book Trabalho de Brecht, one of the most important reflections on Brecht's work ever written in Brazil. First published in 1986, the book offers an original take on the dialectical method by discussing the classical dimension aimed by the German poet, understood in terms of a "combat classicity", that connects history to the present time, and that has connections with the Brazilian experience.
