A EDUCAÇÃO DO CAMPO COMO FORMA DE RESISTÊNCIA E COMBATE AO ÊXODO RURAL NO BRASIL

Since the installation of the first schools, education in the rural setting has faced challenges such as the lack of teachers and adequate structures and the difficult access on the part of students, however, in addition to these, the content worked in the classroom also plays a decisive role in life of settled students, quilombolas, riverside, caboclos, extractivist and others. The purpose of this study is to analyze, in a qualitative way, not only the importance of rural education, but also its construction process and, mainly, the impacts that its absence has on the continuity of rural communities. Thus, based on the theoretical support of authors and educators Paulo Freire, Mônica Molina and Antônio Castrogiovanni and field visits in the Quilombola Santa Rosa dos Pretos Community, located in the municipality of Itapecuru-Mirim, in the State of Maranhão and in the following settlements of Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST): Abril Vermelho, located in the municipality of Santa Bárbara do Pará, in the State of Pará and Cristina Alves, also located in the municipality of Itapecuru-Mirim, in the State of Maranhão, it was possible to conclude the importance of education the field to build resistance processes and the fundamental role that communities play in the elaboration of specific teaching for the field.Downloads
