<i>Teilingia granulata</i> (ROY ET BISS) NOV. COMB. BOURRELY (DESMIDIACEAE) E SUAS IMPLICAÇÕES PARA O TRATAMENTO DA ÁGUA

Resumo

This paper is a contribuition to the knowledge of the water suply algae and their relation-ship with the sanitary engeneering. The algae Teilingia granulata (Roy et Biss) nov. comb. Bourreley, is omitted in the specialized bibliography about sanitary engeneering. We observad that Teilingia granulata causes smell and color in the waters; it still present in the water distribution system; it is clorine and cupric and cupric sulphate resistent.
