CONTRIBUIÇÃO AO CONHECIMENTO DA FAUNA DE PROTOZOÁRIOS DO ESTUÁRIO DO RIO PARAÍBA DO NORTE: TINTINOÍNEOS DO RIO MANDACARU
Abstract
The following species of Thintinnoinea were studied in the Mandacaru River, a main tributary on the right side of the estuary of the paraiba do Norte River, State of Paraiba, Brazil, from plankton collections taken from September 1978 to August 1979: Favella campanula (Schmidt, 1901), Leprotintinnus nordqvisti (Brandt, 1906), Tintinnopsis compressa Daday, 1887, T. directa Hada, 1932, T. gracillis Kofoid & Campbell, 1929, T. rotundata Jorgensen, 1899, T. tenuis Hada, 1932, T. tocantinensis Kofoid & Campbell, 1929, T. uruguayensis Belech, 1948, T. sp. 1 and T. sp. 2.
