Abstract

This paper aims to identify the profile of outsourced workers in the context of the 2000s as well their relation with precarious working conditions. This profile was created by the statistic-descriptive analysis of the data bank of SINDEEPRES and the data bank of SINDEPRESTEM. This analysis identified that the profile of these kind of workers corresponds to the base of Brazilian’s social pyramid different from what PT’s governments announced. In short, outsourced workers form a ‘new workers class’ which is associated with precarious work conditions.
