Abstract

Thematizing the effects of neoliberal reform, imposed by central capitalism on peripheral countries, from the crisis of the "golden years", this article addresses the implications of the adjustments imposed on Latin American countries, in the face of an environment of productive restructuring and deepening of inequality and poverty. Bibliographic and documentary in nature, this article seeks to analyze some effects of these adjustments on work configurations and the consequent increase in inequality and poverty in Latin America. As a result, the theoretical approaches presented - submitted to qualitative analysis - allowed to consider that the transformations in the world of work that aim at the exponential production of wealth generate the deepening of poverty and social inequality.
