This paper aims to analyse and make visible the solidarity economic enterprises self-managed by women in the state of Paraíba, as productive activities developed from the way of life and experiences of women, also understood as survival strategies. From the selection of active women's groups, field research was carried out seeking to identify the profile of women, the type of activity, the marketing strategies and difficulties in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, among other aspects. The activities developed by women are concentrated notably in handicrafts, family farming and food production, with the marketing of products in fixed or itinerant fairs. The self-management of the enterprises and the limitation of financial resources were highlighted as the main difficulties for the maintenance of the groups. Women in the solidarity economy play an important role in building sociability and transmitting knowledge in their communities.
