Abstract

This field report briefly raises the origins of pandemics, like the one we are living in 2020, with the spread of COVID-19. A great part of responsibility for the rase of pandemics is how our food is produced and our dietary habits. In parallel, I bring my experience in the field with a couple who decided to leave their lives in big cities to live in the rural area of Jacobina, in the State of Bahia in Brazil, and create a relationship with food that deviates from the large industrial production.
