Abstract

The social networks had great importance for 2006‟s American elections. With the media historic evolution, also changed the communications paradigms, the elector‟s profile and the candidate‟s visibility gain, that get to exists in the online universe. Their images, before imposed by TV‟s unidirectional discourse, travelled through the cyberspace in data and opinions shared among social actors mediated by few dispositive how the MySpace, the Facebook and the Twitter. In this article we attempt to investigate the social network‟s uses how a visibility instrument in the Barack Obama candidate‟s campaign.
