Abstract

New technologies in journalism require substantial transformations that demand technical operability modifications as much as the production of content. However, the more important in this readaptation process is to give a competence to the journalist so he can continue serving its journalistic function without losing the essence of his job in this digital world. The future of journalism has arrived and it already comes with some features that need to be identified to permit the dialogue‟s permanence with the public: interactivity; 'scoops‟ in real time; collaborative communication etc.. This is the great challenge of contemporary journalism: take the information with the same criteria, but adding the value of the news which cannot be disregarded on these days.
