Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of the act of appropriation within the context of the arts and how this aesthetic search is entered within the film. This article will focus on documentary film propaganda conducted between the decades 1920-1950 and contemporary documentaries that use found footage as a technical approach, assuminga critical proposition to propaganda films.
