Abstract

TheessayTheater of War (2011)of Moises Saman, integrates the Magnum in Motion project, a multimedia product by Magnum, available on the web and accessed by a participant subject. Weresearched the use of photojournalistic frames. In the theoretical framework we haveadopted as referencesV. Flusser, J. Aumont, M. Martin, G. Deleuze. As for the methodological procedures, we've seeked to experience a spontaneous contactwith the essay, andafterwards we aimed to define some reading strategies: identify framesand discover the functions of journalistic significance. These frames feature expressive and informative content, which constitute its own language, through their own repertoire as also their self-related rules of combination and use.
