Abstract

This work reflects about the uses of imagetic resources in TV News from Rede Globo through special series that bring reportings about Amazon. We present the discourse analysis methodology developed for interprettext and image as specificity to think about journalism narratives that uses audiovisual resources. Having text as social practice, we can observe the television product as the precipitation of ideological wires that demarcate discourseshistorically reaffirmed. And in this sense, it is possible to identify the silences of verbal text that explode in images as something that can not be said, but it‟s always shown.
