Abstract

The article intends to contribute and expand the debates around objectivity as a main issue in the journalistic practice nowadays, from its ideological implications. This subject-matter will be developed by conceptualizing nuclear themes like power, domination and possibilities of social change in journalistic practices, besides the controversial concept of ideology, which relatesclosely to shape the professional activity.
