Abstract

The current study examines the Natural Law Theory as a legal philosopher category of significant authority and appliance to the legal science of our times, especially under the auspices of Thomas Aquinas' doctrine. The Natural Law is essential to the conception of law-just, upon which have special ethical and normative effectiveness especially when considered under the form of legal doctrine. As a result, the Thomistic Natural Law is considered to be a legal and methodological source for adequate interpretation and integration of Law, resulting in positive outcomes for the resolution of judicial disputes.
