Ethical corollary of the freedom of the press in childhood

Abstract

This research analyses the freedom of the press and its relations with cognitive and moral changes in the human society. It emphasizes ethical implications about the impact of the media on child development and some sociological aspects of the question. The article summarizes main lines about the process of mediatization of the contemporary society, and explains how governments and social movements has tried to minimalize its consequences in terms of disastrous effects for children in the present, and for future generations in the sense of to prevent damages to the public security.
