Democracia, Liberalismo e Republicanismo: Tensões no pensamento de Immanuel Kant

Nosso trabalho orienta-se a elucidar as intrincadas relações entre republicanismo, democracia e liberalismo no pensamento de Inmanuel Kant e sua relevância para nossos dias. Um dos eixos centrais de nosso trabalho consiste em pôr ênfase na categoria de liberdade, entendendo que tal conceito é o significante primordial da cosmovisão Kantiana. Nesse sentido, apostamos por dar prioridade à noção de liberdade positiva, tanto no plano político como no plano moral. Outro dos eixos centrou-se em certas tensões entre Kant e a tradição liberal.
