It is intended to present a discussion of concepts that are important for the expedient of the Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset. Masses, minorities and circumstances stand out in this sense. Thus, in the light of a conceptual understanding, he can conclude that there are distances between Ortega y Gasset thinking of Marxian and Marxist thought, especially in what correspond to the concepts of mass and minority.
