Abstract

The image of an organization is what it wants to project, including the expression of symbolic elements that are expressed. Great importance in the matter of their survival and highlighting, on its various publics. Given the close relationship with the company researched community Itabira, this study aimed to identify the perceptions of young people in relation Itabirana organizational image and its symbolic power contained in speeches. The research used qualitative and descriptive methods. The unit of analysis was Vale, the subject of the research was composed by young between 15 and 25 years and the data collection was carried through by interviews with focal group. The content analysis was prioritized. As a result of this research have been identified aspects of the favorable and unfavorable business and community and influencing the formation of the organization, such as impact environmental, lack of communication, generation as of employ, avails to the employees.
