Aprendendo a cuidar
Desenvolvimento de habilidades para a prevenção do suicídio em serviço de hotlines
Abstract
The interest of the article was to understand the constitution of the learning process among volunteers from an institution where emotional support is offered in order to prevent suicide. Through individual interviews and a focus group, I analyzed practical aspects of the experience of volunteers to understand the learning process for the production of care, this being an enterprise marked by instability and unpredictability. Finally, I consider that volunteers develop skills for their work based on a configuration that consists of investing in artisanal production, through adaptations of the information repertoire they have, to respond to the particularities and contingencies of each service.
