COMO PROCEDIMENTOS FUNDAMENTAIS PARA ALCANÇAR UMA GESTÃO PÚBLICA DE QUALIDADE

Abstract

The work has as general objective to present the archival theory and practice as fundamental procedures to reach a quality public management. It lists the methodology for organizing and managing files through the development of work steps, such as: data collection, analysis of collected data, planning, implementation and monitoring. It punctuates the three basic phases of document management: production, use and destination. In addition, it shows the archival procedures that carry out the execution of administrative activities: archival plan, standardization, use of document management instruments, use of the filing system, preservation, conservation and restoration policy, and access and document use policy. As methodological procedures, it presents descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, characterized by means of bibliographic study. As a result, it was concluded that Archivology/Archival Science is a science that supports public administration through the organization, administration and management of archives, and that its Theory and Practice are fundamental to achieve quality public management.
