CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE PRESERVATION OF DOCUMENTS IN DIGITAL FORMAT

Abstract

The growth in the information availability and the increasing of the use of technologies has permitted the proliferation of documents in different formats in the digital environment. This study aims at presenting considerations about the preservation of documents in digital format in new technologies. It was observed the possibility to crate techniques and policies that focus on the preservation of the digital document, and it was also observed the costs and necessity of the technological constant updating. The considerations points out that is vital to take into consideration the creation of technologies related to the preservation of available documents in digital format.
