Abstract

Describes the National Collective Catalog of Serial Publications.The objective, based on a methodological path consisting of explanatory and bibliographic research, is to discuss the conversion of collection data fields from the CCN standard to the Marc 21 Holdings format. It presents as a result the analysis of the Marc 21 format documentation for collection data and the definition of the fields to be implemented in the CCN. It is concluded that the adoption of the Marc 21 format for data collection will facilitate the sending and / or collection of metadata. In addition, the use of subfields in the system will make it possible to create filters, which will facilitate the retrieval of information by the user.
