Tecnologia 5G e sua aplicação em bibliotecas

Abstract

In recent years there have been many changes and technological developments that can and should be used in favor of mankind, in the case of information units so that a significant interaction between them and the user can happen, it is necessary to take into account the means used for the dissemination of services, particularly the existence of an active, dynamic and collaborative library, with the educational system of the institution and also with technological developments, making users see such an environment as an interesting space, in this scenario the discussion of the use of 5G technology in libraries comes into play. This research aims to review the literature about 5G Technology in Libraries in order to expand the knowledge about the topic in question and to list the possibilities of its application in the activities of Libraries and/or Information Units.The methodological procedures are outlined in an exploratory research, with a qualitative approach to data interpretation and analysis, and that uses the deductive method using bibliographic data. Even though the application of 5G Technology is already a reality in many areas, there are still few publications nationwide on the proposed theme, which leads to the understanding that this reality within libraries is still under construction.
