Abstract

The National Meeting of Information Science Research (ENANCIB) aims to stimulate scientific production in Information Science. In 2019 occurs the twentieth edition of the event. The purpose of this paper is to present the historical trajectory of the Working Group 4 - Information and Knowledge Management at ENANCIB and to point out the main developments and trends related to this theme. The literature review method on Knowledge Management and Innovation was used. Also, a quantitative research was conducted, which had as empirical field the survey of publications of WG 4 available in the annals of all  editions of ENANCIB. In the end, it was concluded that Knowledge Management evolves towards speed, learning and competitive differential, and can be assessed in at least three ways. Aspects are the focus on the knowledge cycle, management focus and innovation.

Doutor em Ciência da Informação pela Escola de Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2012). Mestre em Administração Pública pela Escola de Governo da Fundação João Pinheiro (2005) e graduado em Administração. Professor do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sistemas de Informação e Gestão do Conhecimento da Universidade FUMEC.
