Abstract

Industry 4.0 is a term that indicates the use of information technologies and automation in manufacturing. The concepts and applications of Industry 4.0 have gained relevance in recent years for both researchers and entrepreneurs, however, it is observed that there is no consensus in the literature regarding the concepts that involve it, its realization criteria are still uncertain and the technological roadmap for reach it is unclear. Thus, this study aims to map the scientific production on Industry 4.0. This is a bibliographic study, with a quantitative approach, carried out on a bibliometric analysis. The results reveal a growing trend of publications on the subject. It was possible to count 117 authors and 20 countries of origin of the publications, as well as to observe the scientific recognition of the studies that make up the analyzed sample.
