This research aims to verify works on storytelling produced in the area of Information Science and their interlocution with Law and Literature. The methodological perspective is based on a social bias, using a qualitative approach. As methods, bibliographical research was used in the Reference Database of Articles and Journals in Information Science (Brapci) and in the Journal Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes). As for data analysis, content analysis was adopted, with the establishment of the category: mediation of information, storytelling and law. The results show that there is an operationalization of storytelling with the adoption of literary works, aiming at clarifying the language, but without specific projects on the subject coming from universities. It is concluded that storytelling contributes to the accessibility of procedural discourse, however it lacks incentive actions in favor of promoting this art in the academic legal scenario.
