ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION OF THESES AND DISSERTATIONS OF THE ANTROPHOLOGY POST-GRADUATION PROGRAM OF THE UFPE: a study in perspective scientometric

Abstract

This work aim to analyze the production of thesis and dissertations (T&D) of the last 10 years of the Antrophology Post-graduation Program of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (PPGA – UFPE). It was adopted the Scientometric Methodology aiming to perform a qualitative and quantitative analisys of the T&D used by the PPGA-UFPE post-graduated studants who have defended their titles over the last 10 years and who placed their works in the Thesis and Dissertations Digital Library of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (BDTD – UFPE). As results, it was observed the historical evolution of the T&D in the PPGA-UFPE, the most cited T&D authors in the T&Ds producted by the program and the influence of T&D as information source on the elaboration of new T&Ds.
