Abstract

This work analyzes the locus of the language in the identities constitution in the systems that compose them. At the present time, one of the main cultural systems are, without a doubt, the mass communication means. Their speeches pass by daily our social relations mediating the identities construction processes. In this sense, we seek a reflection on the paper of the media as significant agent, in other words, like able to device do the things and people mean. Thus, we believe to contribute for the debate and the comprehension of as the mediatic culture takes part in the identities construction in the contemporary Brazilian society.
