Abstract

This article aims to analyze the frameworks of the armed conflict between Israel and Palestine, in the Gaza Strip in July 2014, created by the magazines Carta Capital and Veja. We consider that, although traditional journalism stand as holder of the truth about the events, each vehicle interprets the events in a different way, according to its private interests. The purpose hereis to show how the two magazines – competing and antagonistic in relation to their political positions – managed to present different truths about the same war
