Comportamento informacional de pacientes em comunidades virtuais de saúde: uma revisão sistemática da literatura

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o comportamento informacional de pacientes em grupos e comunidades virtuais de saúde, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. A metodologia envolveu a coleta de artigos em quatro bases de dados: Web of Science, Scopus, EBSCO Host e ScIELO, utilizando critérios como restrições temporais, tipo de documento e acesso por meio do Portal de Periódicos da CAPES. A análise de conteúdo e seu relato foi realizado seguindo o protocolo PRISMA. Os resultados indicam que pacientes utilizam comunidades virtuais para suprir suas necessidades informacionais, sendo que o comportamento informacional varia conforme a especificidade da doença. Conclui que o anonimato e o apoio emocional oferecido por essas comunidades contribuem para o autocuidado e o bem-estar dos pacientes.
