I PHILOSOPHICAL GYMKHANA AT UFSM:
TEACHING EXPERIENCES FROM THE PEDAGOGICAL RESIDENCY

This work originated from an activity carried out by undergraduate Philosophy students at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP), from April 2023 to June of the same year. During this time, the I UFSM Philosophical Gymkhana was conceived and produced, seeking integration between secondary schools and the Higher Education Institution, as well as the construction of engaged philosophical knowledge, inviting students to actively participate in this teaching and learning process. In this paper, we will discuss the theoretical basis that has guided us in constructing the exercises proposed in the Gymkhana, how it was carried out and what results are possible to analyze from its practice, with a view to reflecting on the proposed teaching of philosophy. In continuity with the presentation of a paper made at the event “VII Encontro do GT Filosofar e Ensinar a Filosofar da ANPOF: Pensar o campo, filosofar o ensino”.
