Abstract

The aim of this text is to reflect on the need and possibility of carrying out analyses and evaluations of public policies from a political sociology perspective that takes into account social justice issues. It is argued that while the analytical perspective of political sociology implies adopting a relational and historical approach, considering issues of social justice requires the adoption of the normative debate of theories of justice as a parameter for the analysis of conceptions of public policy justice. Finally, it is argued that such an analytical posture makes it possible to seek a substantive reflection on the meanings of public policies and their results.
