The text Hegelian influence on John Dewey's pragmatism: some notes are intended to show the consequences of Hegelian Philosophy in Deweyan pragmatism; understanding that Hegel is a philosopher recognized as: idealist, famous, and his arguments permeate useful knowledge, to explain the world, and that the same, in its dialectic, is the truly universal one; Dewey's Philosophy, on the other hand, is respected for its global reach, and has impacted psychological theories, influencing this science, and “his writings on democratic theory and practice have deeply enthused academic and practical debates alike. Dewey developed extensive and often systematic views on ethics, epistemology, logic, metaphysics, aesthetics, and philosophy of religion; he used to adopt a genealogical approach that expressed his own view, in the larger History of Philosophy; one can also find a fully developed metaphilosophy in his work”[1]. That said, the on-screen production is based on Literature studies, and the notes on the topic are also intended to collaborate with the discussions, adding to the already existing productions, about the two great philosophers.
