This article aims to present the philosopher John Dewey and his philosophical view on language; promote debate on the topic and think about other productions, other perspectives around the concepts. Certainly, the subject is not exhausted and does not intend to exhaustively discuss each concept, but only to philosophize about Deweyan language based on the bibliographical reference, physically and online, supported by the ideas of the philosopher in question, in authors who deal with the topic and discuss the philosophy of thought, language, words, human language.
