A user study was carried out with students from the History course of a Higher Education Institution (HEI), aiming to analyze the needs, expectations and degree of satisfaction based on the products and services offered by the central library, in addition to investigating the impact caused by its partial closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology consists of a field research with a qualitative-quantitative, descriptive and bibliographic approach. The study was carried out by sending an online questionnaire to the e-mail of the students participating in the study. It is concluded that the majority of users do not consider themselves affected by the partial closure of the unit and that the service, disclosure and products and services met their expectations, being well evaluated.
