This article is the product of a desire to deepen knowledge regarding the inclusion in the labor market of albino and visually impaired people; a problem experienced by myself and many others with the same condition. In recent years, the public and private sectors have expanded the inclusion of people with different types of disabilities in their various jobs. However, even if such people have entered the labor market, it does not guarantee that they can effectively and inclusively carry out their profession. However, the aforementioned institutions are often aware of their limits regarding the construction of the “labour locus” that is effectively inclusive of workers with disabilities. To do so, it has constantly sought: greater depth regarding the problem, with information and help from doctors and specialists that can contribute to the improvement of these people's working conditions, as well as the acquisition of equipment adapted to their needs. The difficulty encountered in the inclusion process leads us to ask: has the labor market effectively made inclusion possible, which recognizes the identity, differences, and needs of each person? From this perspective, this article has as its objective discussion of the practices of inclusion of albino people with visual impairment that has been carried out in the labor market in the light of law, pointing out the limits and possibilities.
