Abstract

Resumo: Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar comparativamente as visões de Edward Gordon Craig e Bertolt Brecht sobre a qualidade dual do trabalho do ator como autor e objeto de sua criação. Comparando o V-effekt brechtiano e a Über-marionette de Craig, desenvolve-se uma reflexão em direção a uma inclinação comum sobre as tradições de teatro oriental: Brecht com o chinês e Craig com o indiano. Abstract: This study aims to analyze comparatively the visions of Edward Gordon Craig and Bertolt Brecht about the actor’s dual characteristic as author and object of his creation. Comparing the brechtian V-effekt and Craig’s Über-marionette, the reflection is built toward a common inclination over the traditions of the oriental theater: Brecht with the Chinese and Craig with the Indian.
