BNCC FOR TEACHING OF GEOGRAPHY: THE PROPOSAL OF HUMAN SCIENCES AND INTERDISCIPLINARITY

Abstract

This article has aimed to explain implications of usage of the Human Sciences terminology for Geography teaching, according to purpose of the BNCC (Common National Curricular Base), which is a new way to Brazilian education. In this sense, some questions appear: What are reasons to join Geography with Human Sciences? Which do measures the interdisciplinary can explain this relationship? How will guidance interfere in the teacher training? Then, it was aimed: to comprehend the building of national geographic education project and relationships with BNCC; to analyze the proposal of the Geography teaching in Human Science and possible consequences for initial training of teachers. Therefore, it was studied documents performed by MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture) and articles from Foucault (1999) and Santos Boaventura (2010) on Human Sciences, as well as other authors which work with curriculum and Geography teaching. As result, it was performed a reflexing on need to maintain Geography with its school identity, to comprehend interdisciplinary for effectiveness in school environment and the teacher training to play a fundamental tool of guiding future teachers to act as professional of Geography teaching.
