Abstract

In this article, we reflect on the paradigmatic debate and socio-territorial movements analyzing the neoliberal agrarian question of the XXI century, and we selected as case studies the conflictuality of the territorial disputes in MATOPIBA and the Apodi plateau in the state of Ceará. Our objective is to update the theoretical debate on the current agrarian question by reflecting on the concepts we present in the studies on two realities in which socio-territorial movements resist in the struggle for land against agribusiness and in which socio-territorial movements fight for land, occupying territories of multinational corporations. We make the conceptual, theoretical discussion based on the selected studies to dialogue with the readers about the new elements of the agrarian question in its neoliberal phase, as for example financialization of agriculture, agribusiness as a network complex and the alliance agribusiness. It is in this context that we analyze the resistances and confrontations through conflictuality.
