This article addresses the issues related to Extractivist Reserves in Brazil, we provide a brief contextualization of the regulations, and the implemented standard for creating and usufruct the Reserves. We list the importance of this model for the respect and preservation of areas in Brazil, subsidizing the conservation of sociobiodiversity in regulated Reserves. To perform such reflection, we used the geographical category territory to understand the reality that supported the creation of Extractivist Reserves in Brazil.Downloads
