Some notations for the debate on financial capital in agrarian geography

Abstract

This article proposes a brief study guide as well as references, for debating on financial capital as dealt by Brazilian agrarian geography. It presents some of the main theoretical references, present in relatively different perspectives, to treat topics as territorialization of capital, crisis and the characteristics of the current phase of capitalist accumulation. For such we deal with contributions from David Harvey, François Chesnais and Robert Kurz, having in account some concepts provided by the contemporary agrarian geography debate such as “peasantry reproduction”, “land ownership” and “forms of reproduction of capital in crisis”, in Brazilian countryside.
