Abstract

The struggle for quality education in the Amazon goes through generations, where over time the struggle for land and the guarantee of reproducing socially, economically and culturally on the earth has intensified, so it is worth emphasizing that during this period marked by the resistance of traditional communities, there were achievements of mechanisms capable of serving the traditional communities according to their specificity. Among them is the education of the field, which is delineated from Paulo Freire's theory, which treats the student as a protagonist in the construction of methodologies and practices of his teaching, guiding the respect for culturally constructed knowledge, fostering an in-depth observation for the which we call empirical knowledge and how its valuation in the school environment can be a relevant factor regarding the political formation of the student, as well as a link between community and school, and can later reflect on the student's permanence in school. In this way the present article aims to analyze the process of teaching learning in the Padre Sergio Tonetto Rural Family Home school, located in the rural area of the municipality of Moju Pará.
