This text aims to analyze agricultural production, job creation in the agriculture in Brazil and Goiás, according to different agricultural establishments, as well as discussing values of rural credit for family farming and employer-based agriculture. To this end, it was used bibliographic and documentary research and on the internet. The results show that family farming is responsible for the highest generation of jobs in rural areas, the highest production of aquaculture and vegetable species used in traditional medicine. Contradictorily, despite the increasing amounts of credit made available, family farming appropriates a smaller share of the money subsidized by the Brazilian government in the national financial sector. The National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (PRONAF) also has its idiosyncrasies, prioritizing universal credit modalities to the detriment of fractions, segments and activities of family farming. The reduction in contracts, the increase in values, and the area of coverage also signals the strengthening of peasant differentiation.
